Management Buy Out at Simpson Associates.

Simpson Associates (Simpson Associates Information Services Ltd) is delighted to announce that it has been acquired by its senior management team from its founding shareholders.

The origins of Simpson Associates date back to 1991.  Founded by John Simpson and Mark White, it has grown to become a leading provider of Data Analytics and Financial Planning & Analysis solutions, having strong partnerships with Microsoft, IBM and BOARD.  Simpson Associates now employs over 35 people and counts organisations such as Orbit Housing, Telegraph Group, DC Thomson, Great Rail Journeys, JD Wetherspoon, Greene King, Virgin Money Digital Bank, Mundipharma, ICO and many UK leading Universities among its clients.

Mark White outgoing Managing Director said “It has been a long-standing ambition of John and I that the business would be the subject of an MBO and I am confident that the management team will be successful. Between them they have over fifty years of experience with the company and they will take that experience forward to the benefit of our clients; our partners; and our colleagues.”

The MBO team led by Giles Horwood, who will become Managing Director includes, Darren Moors – Commercial Director, Angeline Campbell – Services Director and Rachel Hillman – Finance and Operations Director.
