The challenge in UK Policing
Vast numbers of documents per case are needing to be redacted and sent on to the Crown Prosecution Service on a daily basis within UK Police. Recognising the need for improvements in the redaction process, Simpson Associates have developed, in conjunction with Microsoft, “RedactXpert”– a tool that assists in the process of redacting documents using AI – delivering improved efficiency in the process and considerable time-saving benefits.
Redaction tools are already widely used within UK Police. However, RedactXpert takes the process to a new level. The only automated redaction tool built on the Microsoft Azure platform and utilising Microsoft’s Cognitive Services, RedactXpert identifies and redacts Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with the power of AI.
