At the Microsoft WPC in Washington last week we saw demonstrations of the new Delve product. This will be part of Office 365 plans which is absolutely spot on. Office 365 makes collaboration and sharing of content, documents, conversations, online meetings a completely straight forward process. Our Customer Immersion Experience sessions show how simple it is to transform common business processes and save significant time. Delve takes the outcomes of this collaboration and presents it back to you within a totally intuitive and pleasing interface.

It is stunningly simple, but based on some state of the art algorithms, in fact Microsoft’s new Machine Learning which is in itself, another example of the benefits that are accruing to Cloud customers from Microsoft’s unique breadth of capabilities.

Put simply, Delve predicts which of those things that you have been collaborating on or been made aware of in a meeting or which customer activity you are involved with, all the “stuff” of your business life, that you will be working on next – and it offers it up for you. It’s one of those applications that makes you smile. In effect, it organises content in advance of your need for it and therefore saves you the time and stress of trying to find it all. It is the next level of Search, it is predictive search and it is almost, but not quite, magical.
