DETAILS

EVENT NOW FULL. Please see other dates and locations or get in touch with us.

Data is one of the most important assets for any organisation. To optimise the value of data you need to know your data and develop a strategy to manage and realise the true value of it.
Building a modern data strategy now requires organisations to consider how they handle both structured and un-structured data, together with many new sources of data being required to support business decisions.
Our event will de-mystify Cloud adoption in the context of Business Intelligence and Business Analytics. We will demonstrate the value and agility that the Cloud can bring to your business, whilst explaining the terminology and demonstrating the components that allow cost effective, scalable and agile business systems to be built and deployed to every business user. We will also discuss the importance of managing master data and improving the quality of your data.
This half day event will address the issues raised with traditional data management systems and describe how cloud can be a cost effective response for organisations of all shapes and sizes. We will illustrate and demonstrate analytical solutions built using the Microsoft Azure Stack, including Power BI.

The event will cover the following:

• Introduction to Simpsons
• Overview of Business challenges
• Outline of the Azure Stack related to Data Analytics
• Demonstrations of Azure and Power BI
• Managing master data and data quality using Microsoft Azure & Information Builders

There will be ample time during the session to discuss how the cloud can fit into your business, and we will explain various examples of how this fits within private sector organisations plus Education, Social Housing and Local government.
