Simpson Associates showcase Power BI at the Jisc Digital Festival 2014

Last week our Higher Education team attended the Jisc Digital Festival at the ICC, Birmingham.

Exhibiting across from the main attraction “the Groovy Van” (A pristine looking VW Campervan which doubled up as Photo Booth) our team set about encouraging Higher Education users to capitalise on their existing investments in Microsoft by showcasing the capabilities of Office 365 and Power BI.

Samantha Boulton, Higher Education Business Manager

“We are engaged with many universities who already have investments in SQL, SharePoint and Microsoft and it is a natural progression for Institutions to explore the BI potential of these existing products that typically sit on every desktop. Universities are seeking a cost effective way to bring BI and Dashboard technologies together, whilst ensuring development momentum continues to meet the fast pace of user demand. We are showing that Office 365 and Power BI can provide this.”

Do you want to learn more about the power of Microsoft Business Intelligence? We provided a free half day interactive workshop specifically designed for Higher Education institutions to help you realise the potential of this product. Find out more about the event here. If you interested in developing your Business Intelligence solution our Higher Education team are happy to answer any queries and questions. Contact Samantha Boulton on 01904 234523.
