Quite often, key members of staff are absent from work for a wide variety of reasons, or leave an organisation.  This can result in short term losses of key knowledge and highlights exposures in the support to Performance Management applications.  In recognition of these circumstances, Simpson Associates has developed a managed service portfolio “Business Intelligence Managed Services” which when tailored to a customer's needs, enables Simpson Associates to be responsible for the delivery of designated Performance Management processes to an agreed timetable.

Our advanced package options provides Business Intelligence Managed Services (BIMS) contract to pre-defined service levels and tailored to a customers specific requirements.

Our Managed Services are provided against an agreed schedule of events. Through the use of internet based remote access tools we are able to manage the schedule of events and thus ensure reliability of a customer's Performance Management application.<

Examples of BIMS contracts that we currently offer are:

  • Building of DataMarts, Cubes, checking of output created,
  • Checking of Data Warehouse processes, eg., data feeds and database checks,
  • Periodic health check of applications such as DataWarehouses,
  • Monthly building and checking of Business Intelligence environments,
  • Monthly building and checking of Enterprise Planning environments,
  • First or Second line support for a key staff member's annual leave,
  • Total server and application management for additional peace of mind.

Each contract is created and tailored to the exact requirements and renewable annually.
