As Performance Management solutions have become increasingly critical to business success, so too have they become more complex.  Recognising these factors, Simpson Associates has introduced a range of extended support packages that are tailored to suit all organisations, seeking to incorporate managed services within their existing, internal Performance Management applications and to supplement existing resources.

Our extended support options includes all aspects of the Standard Support Agreement, plus:-

  • Remote Server Management, including automated alerting & notification of exceeded thresholds,
  • Remote Application support,

Server Management and Alerting

Our Server Management and Alerting support package provides the additional peace of mind that organisations need to ensure that their Performance Management server(s) are being monitored with errors traced and corrected to predefined service levels. Simpson Associates are able to provide this service using Internet based, leading edge remote operation and alerting facilities.

The package comprises of:

  • Setup of alerts dependent on Cognos / DataMirror / Microsoft software installed.
  • Management of alerts received by the Helpdesk and correction of any issues raised.

Alerts can be setup to monitor the following:

  • Services,
  • Free Disk Space,
  • CPU Utilisation,
  • Event Viewer Messages,
  • File Size,
  • Used Memory,
  • Folder Size,
  • System goes offline / comes online,
  • Program starts, stops or crashes.

Remote Application Support

Our Application Support contract extends the scope of coverage covered by the helpdesk. Queries relating to the Performance Management application, it's configuration, the associated operating environment, including performance criteria can be logged with the Helpdesk, enabling internal customer support staff to have access to a wealth of experience in resolving often quite complex matters, without the need to call upon site based consulting skills.

Pricing

Pricing of Extended Support contracts is priced dependent on the size, complexities, duration and service level requirements of the Performance Management application.
